Atlas Carrier Group • How It Works

The same process, run for every carrier, every load.

No black box. Here's exactly what we do behind the scenes to keep your truck loaded and your rates fair.

The order things happen in, every time.

No guesswork about when you get paid relative to us. Here's the exact sequence for every carrier, every load.

Sign the agreement

You sign the Dispatcher-Carrier Agreement — no long-term lock-in, week-to-week from day one.

Send your packet

MC authority, W-9, and Certificate of Insurance (COI) — the paperwork we need on file before booking your first load.

We book & send rate confirmation

We find and negotiate the load, then send you the rate confirmation before you run it.

You deliver & get paid

You complete the delivery and get paid by the broker or factor — this always happens before we invoice you.

We invoice our commission

5% for your first 30 days, 8% standard after — invoiced only after you've already been paid.

Four phases, run for every load.

We call it the LOAD cycle — Learn, Observe, Ask, Deliver. It's the same disciplined process whether it's your first load with us or your hundredth.

01 · Learn

We learn your numbers

Before we book anything, we work out your real cost per mile and your target rate — so every load we bring you actually clears what your truck needs to earn.

02 · Observe

We watch the market

We check current market conditions and rate history on candidate lanes — both the outbound leg and the return trip — so you're not stuck with a great headhaul and a dead backhaul.

03 · Ask

We negotiate the load

We compare 3–5 brokers on the same lane and push for a better number than the first offer — never committing on the first call.

04 · Deliver

We handle what comes after

Rate confirmations, pickup and delivery details, and paperwork submission — all handled so your payment isn't held up by a missing document.

Your truck, run like it's the only one we dispatch.

A dispatcher who actually knows your truck

  • Your real numbers. Rates negotiated against your actual cost per mile, not a guess.
  • Your preferences respected. States you'd rather avoid, hours you can run, equipment limits — all factored in.
  • Straight answers. Weekly reports on exactly what you ran and what you made.

No overpromising, no fine print

  • No fabricated guarantees. We tell you our process, not made-up track record numbers.
  • No hidden fees. One disclosed commission, nothing added after the fact.
  • No pressure. Nothing to sign that locks you in — see the results before you decide anything.
